What began as a much-loved coffee shop in 1997 has grown into a catering business with the same simple heart: a love of good food and the people who gather around it.
For Margie, food is personal. It’s the conversations that linger, the families coming together, and the joy of sharing something lovely with the people who matter most.
That spirit lives on in The Fat Aubergine today, catering for weddings and private celebrations in Pietermaritzburg and the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Every occasion starts with getting to know what you have in mind.
